Are you sure that latest version of skin used there?

Maybe old version of skin is loaded when program is started from IDE?

Customization of color is possible in components from the AlphaControls package only.

I'm thinking about a solution for other controls, but I haven't good ideas at moment.

You can install the package in Delphi only with enabled “Generate all C++ Builder files (including package libs)” option (Linking options).

Components will be available in Builder too in this case.
