Anything that updates the UI will be slower with AlphaSkins.

Delphi programmer since 2001I have made a lot of optimizations for AlphaSkins code and it is always possible to optimize more.
I recommend using profiling tools for your project. Here is one for free: https://www.delphitools.info/samplingprofiler/

Can you show how looks your application? Maybe you can send some Dfm files to the
support@alphaskins.com? Maybe I will have some ideas how to improve it.
